Romero’s seminal 1978 film Dawn of the Dead, as well, as the 2004 re-make directed by Zack Snyder, and written by James Gunn. What about the 1978 film makes it not only one of the greatest horror films but also a top-notch film in any genre? And does the 2004 film hold up ten years later? Was it any good to begin with?
